Abstract

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS-COV-2 Coronavirus which can cause death. Laboratory tests conducted on Covid-19 are Real Time Reverse Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and as supporting data can also be carried out routine hematological examinations and measure the D-Dimer level. Measuring the D-dimer level at the beginning of the disease can be useful in controlling and managing covid-19. The purpose of this study is to determine of routine hematology and D-Dimer Patients Covid-19 Kupang City. The type of research is descriptive with a cross sectional approach using secondary data, the number of samples that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 292 people. The results showed that the patient was confirmed by the Covid-19 highest at the age of 31-35 years 91 (31%) and the lowest at the age of 0-5 years 12 (14%), higher in men 151 (52%). The description of routine hematological results of 292 patients is dominated normally and in some cases experience a slight decline and decline. The D-Dimer value of 79 Covid-19 patients has increased by 54 (63%). It was concluded that the patient was confirmed Covid-19 could experience an increase in the D-Dimer value so it was important to monitor D-Dimer levels during the patient's care period.
