Abstract
A good Drinking Water Depot, especially for Islamic Boarding Schools, must be free from pollution. The water can meet certain quality levels according to the needs of the levels in the human body. Water that must be drunk is healthy water that must meet the indicators of drinking water requirements. Clean water that meets the standards is water that does not have a strange odor, taste, or color, does not contain harmful organisms, and is free of heavy metals. Physical parameters measure water quality levels related to physics such as temperature, current speed, water brightness and height, brightness, depth, water color, turbidity, salinity, TDS (total dissolved solid) or TSS (total suspended solid). Chemical parameters are very important parameters to determine whether the water is good or not. Chemical parameters include dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, hardness, sulfate and metal. The study aims to determine the level of physical and chemical parameters in water and determine the level of knowledge of drinking water depot management. Examination of physical and chemical parameters in drinking water was carried out through observation, observationally and quantitatively using an atomic absorption spectrophotometer. This study concludes that drinking water samples at the Raudlatul Musthofa Islamic boarding school meet the requirements of clean water quality and are suitable for consumption.
